I wanted to create a character that looks funny and goofy, but still has an ambivalent air so it is not clear, whether he could be dangerous or is rather good-natured.
Sometimes I find it helpful to make some preliminary stusies, giving a possible direction for the location and the atmosphere and that give a glimpse of the character, as if you had seen him suddenly appear. I wanted the structure of the figure to be low-poly-friendly and chose materials with flat colors that can also work with smaller textures. |
